Why Buhari Will Defeat GEJa

Major-General Muhammadu Buhari is the Messiah Nigerians have been waiting for, this is according to Suleiman Kwari, the coordinator of the Buhari Support Group (BSG) in Kaduna State.

According to a statement released at the weekend in Kaduna, Kwari stated that if Buhari is elected as Nigeria’s president come 2015, Nigeria’s security challenges would be a thing of the past.

He added that Buhari, who is the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate for next year’s general elections, will defeat incumbent President Goodluck Jonathan in the upcoming 2015 presidential polls.

Kwari, who contested for the Kaduna North senatorial ticket, also opined that Nigerians have been pushed to the wall too long by the present government, saying Buhari is the Messiah Nigerians have been waiting for.

He described Buhari as an objective, neutral and detribalised Nigerian who believes in the unity of the citizens.

“Nigerians must not allow themselves to be cowed this time around. They must vote based on their conscience, in the collective interest of Nigerians and for the future of Nigeria,” Kwari who was a commissioner of finance and administration at the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) said.

He called on Nigerians to vote Buhari in the February 15 presidential election, describing APC primaries as an example of a party with good internal democracy.

It would be recalled that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) had said, through a statement made public by Olisa Metuh, the PDP National Publicity Secretary, that President Jonathan is ready for the presidential elections against Gen. Buhari.

According to the statement, Buhari is merely a front for former Lagos State Governor, BolaTinubu.
