Neymar as he is simply known is out of play for a fortnight as he is suffering parotitis (mumps) despite being previously vaccinated against the disease.
The medical team of the Spanish champions made the announcement on Sunday, August 9, 2015.
Neymar is not only out of Tuesday’s UEFA Super Cup game but will be missing in action also for the two-legged Spanish Super Cup against Athletic Bilbao on 14th and 17th of August respectively.
