Tim Faulkner, the keeper from the Australian Reptile Park found a very poisonous red-bellied black snake with its head stuck in a beer tin can.
Despite the danger of being bitten by the snake he released its head by gently cutting the tin can around reptile’s neck.
Getting the snake out of it was quite a risky business as the reptile can be very aggressive when frightened.
The environmentalist released the snake back into nature, and warned people against discarding rubbish in the bush.
“Put your rubbish in the bin, not the bush!” – Faulkner told.
Two months ago a huge python was found in Alagbole Odo bridge, Ogun state on Thursday, June 11, and subsequently killed.
The emergence of the python was caused by the heavy rain over the previous days. The fierce-looking snake was said to have been killed by men in the bush around the area.
