FUNNY: Religious leaders praying for American presidential aspirant Donald Trump

Many times, folks criticised former president Goodluck Jonathan for kneeling before or asking to be prayed for by religious leaders, especially during the last presidential campaign. But it seems that American presidential aspirant, the billionaire Donald Trump, has borrowed a leaf from Nigeria.

Recently, he gathered some American religious leaders, including the popular Robert Jeffress, to pray for him– to prepare him for his battle for the seat of the United States of America.

Watching them lay their hands on him while he stands there holding his Bible is both humbling and hilarious, because this is the first time many people will witness this side of American politics.

Religious leaders laying hands on an aspirant asking for God’s help? In America? And then publicising the prayer session?

That looks like something straight out of a typical Nigerian setting.
