A woman, Helen Otike, has approached an Igando Customary Court, Lagos State, seeking an end to her 18-year-old marriage to her husband, Godwin. The 50-year-old businesswoman who initiated the divorce proceedings told the court that her husband refused to make love to her.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC Kaduna Zonal office, has arrested one Hussaini Mohammed of Tanko Road Barakallahu Kaduna State following a petition received from the Kaduna State Vigilance Service for alleged case of extortion, currency counterfeiting and impersonation of the Nigerian Police Force.

Boko Haram terrorists have abducted 22 girls and women in two separate raids. In the first attack on Thursday, the jihadists raided the village of Pulka near border with Cameroon where they kidnapped 18 girls.

‘Boko Haram fighters from Mamman Nur camp arrived in pickup vans around 6am and seized 14 young girls aged 17 and below while residents fled into the bush,’ a Pulka community leader told AFP.

The Ogun State Command of the Nigeria Customs Service has said it generated the sum of N906,684, 498.26 as revenue in January and February of the year 2017.

According to a statement signed and issued on Friday by the Area Controller in charge of the Ogun, Compt. Hassan Gangua, the Command recorded 344 seizures with duty paid value of N219,813,485.00 from 1st January to 26th March, 2017.

WHO report about air quality which examined PM 2.5 (fine particulate pollution) and PM 10 (coarse pollution particles) levels in 3000 cities across the globe, found that five Nigerian cities have been included in the top ten polluted cities in Africa.

The report which says that 80% of city dwellers are breathing in bad air and are at a risk of life-threatening diseases like lung cancer, added that the air pollution is rising at an alarming rate in urban areas of poor countries.
