National Coordinator of the Yoruba Socio-Cultural group, Oodua People’s Congress, OPC, Otunba Gani Adams, in this interview reveals that his rusty relationship with the leader of All Progressive Congress, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu was as a result of his resolve to free himself and his group from the servitude of the opposition.

He discloses how the leader of the party truncated the peace move brokered by Governor Aregbesola of Osun State; the pipeline contract President Jonathan awarded OPC. This interview was on the eve of the last Presidential election. Excerpts.

Patience Jonathan has denied media reports that she has moved out of the Aso Rock Presidential Villa, Abuja.

President of France, Francois Hollande has invited President-elect, Gen. Buhari to Paris for bilateral talks on expansion of trade between France and Nigeria and the fight against Boko Haram.

A statement by the French Embassy in Abuja said President Hollande had put a call to Gen. Buhari yesterday April 2nd, congratulating him on his success at the polls and reiterated France’s support to Nigeria in the fight against Boko Haram. The statement reads in part;

The chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Prof Attahiru Jega, has declared that he would not serve another term as boss of the electoral body when his first tenure expires in June, even if he is asked.

Speaking in an interview with the Hausa Service of the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC Hausa) last night which was monitored by our reporter in Abuja, Jega said having played his role in the political space for five years, it was time another person was given the chance to contribute his own quota.
