Collapsed Building Entraps Many, Injures Four in Dolphin Estate

The building according to the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) is located at HFB way Dolphin Estate, Ikoyi.

On Saturday morning, a building collapsed in Dolphin Estate, Ikoyi, Lagos, injuring four and trapping many.

According to a tweet by the National Emergency Management Agency, NEMA, the strange ailment that has killed at least 14 people in the last few days in Ode – Irele, Ondo State, has been identified as a disease called OndoX. I dunno if the name was coined from Ondo State, but NEMA says the disease is not the same as the killer Ebola virus."

20 people have been confirmed dead from a Cholera outbreak in Ebonyi State. The state Director, Public Health and Disease Control, in the Ministry of Health, Dr Chris Achi, who made this known to newsmen in Abakaliki, Ebonyi State, said seven local government areas namely Ohaukwu, Izzi, Ezza North, Ishielu, Ebonyi, Abakaliki and Ohaozara have recorded the highest number of cases.

According to a post on their Facebook page, a federal high court today granted a stay of execution on the March 16th High court verdict nullifying the restriction of movement during environmental sanitation exercise in the state. This implies that until the appeal by the state govt is heard, the nullification of restriction of movement cannot be enforced.
