Kemi Olunloyo threatens Jide Kosoko’s daughter, You dont want to mess with me

After Jide Kosoko lost her third wife, ontroversial Kemi Olunloyo came online and said that he should be investigated for ritualism since he has already lost three wives.

His daughter who obviously didn’t find the accusations funny called her out on her facebook page.

Kemi is back again with more threats and now its for Jide’s daughter, Toyin Kososko.

Man rapes woman in order to go to jail to confront man who killed his son

Police say a Florida man, 49-year-old Joel Jones, allegedly raped a woman and then called 911 to turn himself in. When Police arrived to arrest him, he told them he wanted to go to prison to get even with a man who killed his 14 year old son.
The Palm Beach Post reports that the victim told police that Jones attacked her in August 2014 when she responded to an advert he placed asking for a cleaner for his offices. She said he attacked her and raped her as he was showing her an office building she would clean for him.

Former Super Eagles coach and NFF Technical Director, Amodu Shuaibu has died in his sleep just three days after the death of Super Eagles coach, Stephen Keshi. A statement released by the Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) this morning reads:

“NFF Technical Director, Amodu Shuaibu has died at the age of 58. The four – time Coach of the Super Eagles complained of chest pains on Friday night and died in his sleep. RIP Amodu Shuaibu’s death comes three days after that of former Super Eagles Captain and Coach, Stephen Keshi.”

Muslim group rejects new NYSC date for orientation due to Ramadan

The Muslim Rights Concern, MURIC, have released a statement rejecting the June 13th date fixed for the NYSC Batch A (Stream II) orientation course, arguing that the Muslim graduates expected to participate in the orientation will be fasting as the date clashes with their Ramadan fasting. The group argues that it would be very strenuous for Muslims to be fasting and also participate in the challenges task set for them during their orientation camp.

Paulo Gabriel da Silva Barros and Katyucia Hoshino both measure less than three feet tall making them the world’s shortest couple. The couple from Brazil who have proved that size doesn’t matter when it comes to love both have forms of dwarfism and stand at 34.8in and 35.2in respectively.

Both say they have faced discrimination for their size and have been pointed and stared at in the street – with passers-by openly laughing at their stature.

The pair, who hopes to enter the Guinness Book of World Records, said they met on a social media website ten years ago and started chatting on MSN Messenger.

The couple hopes to get married and have children in the future – although it may be difficult for Katyucia to carry a baby full-term because of her size.

A California mother, Maria Mancia, whose son was abducted in 1995 reunited with him on Thursday after 21 years.
The last time Mancia saw her son was when he was just 18 months old and only had a single photo of him.
Her son, Steve Hernandez, who is now 22 years old, was found living in Puebla, Mexico, by investigators in the San Bernardino County District Attorney’s Child Abduction Unit and on Thursday morning was brought to the U.S. to meet his mother for an emotional reunion.

“I am alive” Babangida debunks rumors of his passing

Former Military Head of State, Ibrahim Babangida, has debunked rumors spread on social media that he has passed on. Rumors that he died has been rife on Twitter in the last two days following his failure to return to Nigeria on Tuesday June 7th from a medical trip he went for in Germany.

Speaking on a Television Con­tinental (TVC) programme yesterday night, IBB as he is fondly called said “I am alive.” According to one of his family members, the rumor is unfounded. He said if IBB had indeed passed on, his corpse would have been flown back home for it to be buried according to Islamic injunction.

Resident Doctors suspend planned strike action

The National Association of Resident Doctors of Nigeria (NARD) have postponed their strike action scheduled to commence today June 9th, by one week, after a meeting with the speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara, at the National Assembly yesterday June 8th. At the meeting, Dogara asked for a one week postponement so him and members of the House committee on Health can meet with the Minister of Health to fashion out ways of meeting the demands of the doctors.
