EFCC Freezes Fani-Kayode’s Account

Bank account of Former Aviation Minister, Femi Fani-Kayode has been frozen by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) as it steps up investigation into the alleged N4billion campaign bazaar cashreceived from ex-President Goodluck Jonathan in the build-up to the 2015 elections.

The funds were allegedly withdrawn from the Central Bank of Nigeria(CBN) and shared to 10 other directors, directorates, zonal directors and state directors of the Presidential Campaign Organization of Jonathan.

Things have not been the same since Don Jazzy and D’banj called it quits and shut down their former label, Mo’Hits. The singer recently revealed that professional record labels in Nigeria died after his former group, Mo-hits was disbanded a few years ago.

Speaking to journalists at a recent media hangout with MTV Base, the music entrepreneur lamented that nowadays, record labels don’t have proper organisation and structure.

The EFCC yesterday arrested and detained a former Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Labor, Clement Illoh, after N316 million was traced to his personal account in Zenith Bank. A source at EFCC who spoke to The Nation, said the N316 million which is questionable, was discovered during investigations into the fraud in NIMASA

Aliko Dangote Receives Man Of The Year 2015 Award

Aliko Dangote is the founder, president, and CEO of Dangote Group. Founded over 30 years ago, the group’s interests include the production and distribution of cement, sugar, flour, and oil, as well as real estate development. Dangote set up the Dangote Foundation in 1993 to drive his corporate social responsibility initiatives, endowing it with $1.35 billion in 2014.

A schoolgirl was killed when lightning struck her mobile phone as she tried to answer it to speak to her dad, reports claim.

The girl, named as Arina, 11, was walking near her home in a village in the Chernoyarsk district of south-western Russia’s Astrakhan Oblast region when a storm broke out.

Prince’s Autopsy Has Been Completed
