Man Accused Of Using His 9-Year-Old Son As Sex Slave Found Dead In Jail Cell (PICTURED)

33 year old Carl Philip Herold, a father of a 9-year-old boy who was arraigned for allegedly imprisoning his son, raping him at will and recording the assault on tape had been found dead in prison, World Wide Weird News reports.
Multiple charges were brought against Herold both in his hometown of Alabama and in New York where he previously resided before he was remanded in prison pending on the day of his trial.

Three Army Generals Run Away From Boko Haram Gunmen

            The Nigerian military has stepped up the effort to battle back the terrorist sect Boko Haram from the region they occupy.

             However, Boko Haram have intensified their attacks on local communities and villages according to local sources.
               Premium Times report that three retired Generals of the Nigerian Army narrowly escaped death as the insurgents stormed their local community and asked for the Generals.

NAN – Following the expiration of Oct. 1 deadline for the registration of unpainted commercial vehicles also known as “kabu kabu”, the FCT Transport Secretariat has begun the arrest of defaulters. Mr Jonathan Ivoke, the Secretary, Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Transportation Secretariat, told journalists in Abuja on Thursday that commercial drivers would be arrested for using unpainted and unlicensed vehicles.

Mairuwa was murdered this morning around 8:30am at Obi-Keana Awe road while travelling to his home town, in Keana Local Government area of the state, in the presence of his wife.

The killers who accosted them told his wife not to panic because they were only after her husband before shooting him twice in the chest.

New reports say the ATM explosion explosion which occurred on Friday and killed seven First bank customers and wounded ten, at Azare in Bauchi State, was carried out by a female suicide bomber.
Vanguard reports that the female bomber concealed the explosive in her hijab.
The suicide bomber, it was learnt concealed the Improvised Explosive Device, IED, in her hijab and joined the bank customers on a queue to make withdrawals from one of the bank’s ATMs before the bomb exploded, killing 14 people and also leaving the bank premises shattered. Also, a Chief Medical director in the State has given the records to be 14 dead and 37 wounded. The Chief Medical Director, Federal Medical Centre, Azare, Dr. Abdullahi Ibrahim, gave the actual figures from the unfortunate incident as 14 dead, 37 injured persons when he confirmed 14 people were brought in dead and 37 were brought in wounded.
He also said 16 other victims were still on admission, while others were referred to Malam Aminu Kano University Teaching Hospital, Kano because the victims had brain injuries.

Bbc Actress Commits Suicide After Battling Drug Gambling Problems

A Waterloo Road actress took her own life after battling with drug and gambling problems, and inquest heard.

Lynsey Pow, 34, who also appeared alongside Billie Piper in Secret Diary Of A Call Girl, and the BBC's Doctors was found dead at her flat on November 28 last year.

An inquest at Southwark coroner's court heard how her husband Ashley House, a Eurosport TV presenter, rushed back home from work after growing concerned about her welfare.

But the tragic actress's father revealed a bitter family rift, saying that Mr House had failed to protect his daughter, the Evening Standard reports.

              United States President, Barack Obama, has chosen New York federal prosecutor, Loretta Lynch, to replace Eric Holder as U.S attorney general, the White House has said.
               If the Senate confirms her appointment, Ms Lynch will be the first African-American woman to head the U.S Justice Department.
            Mr. Holder, who resigned from the post six weeks ago, was the first African-American to serve as attorney general, the BBC reports.

The mother of a man accused of striking his girlfriend's 3-year-old with a frying pan, hanging him upside down and hitting him, and whipping him with a metal rod said Friday that her son is a good kid and she doesn't believe he beat the boy to death.
"I believe he's being railroaded," Paula Fellenbaum said outside her parents' home in central Pennsylvania. "He liked kids. He never had an issue. I don't understand it at all."

IN SALT LAKE CITY — A set of Utah parents were awakened Friday to an unsettling noise for 4:30 in the morning: the sound of their front door opening and their 5-year-old daughter talking.
When the father rushed outside in his pajama pants and hoodie he saw the terrifying sight of his 5-year-old stepdaughter in the arms of a stranger who was carrying her away across the front lawn. 2 Feared Dead, 20 Injured in Akwa Ibom Stadium Stampede

According to NAN, two persons were feared dead and 20 others injured in a stampede at the entrance of Akwa Ibom International Stadium on Friday during its inauguration.
The crowd control was a difficult task in spite of the road blocks mounted some kilometres away from the stadium.

A male teacher reportedly stabbed a female student multiple times at the Government Day Secondary School, Yola, Adamawa State.

Eyewitnesses report that the said teacher who is simply identified as Mr. Babbal, stabbed a Senior Secondary School 2 student, Zainab Adamu, over what some students who are friends of the victim say it had to do with her refusal to have an affair with him which led to a heated disagreement and the girl threatened to report the issue of sexual harassment to the school authority.

According to eyewitness reports, the accident was as a result of the hit and run car being on high speed and lack of speed bumps in front of the campus. Afoke had died on the spot and right now, barely 10 hours after her last tweet on earth, her remains are in a mortuary.

According to the Force Public Relations Officer, Emmanuel Ojukwu, detectives have begun investigation into the incident, with five suspects already arrested.
