A group of APC Senators under the aegis Unity Forum, have called on Senate President, Bukola Saraki, to resign from office as he faces trial at the Code of Conduct Tribunal. Unity Forum is made of APC Senators like Sen. Ahmed Lawan, APC’s choice for Senate President & Suleiman Hunkunyi.

About 10 people were feared dead yesterday, in fresh attacks between Fulani herdsmen and farmers at Tom-Anyiin and Tom-Ataan communities, Mbaya, Tombu in Buruku Local Government Area of Benue State. The Council Chairman, Godwin Iorsue, the Divisional Police Officer at Buruku, the Area Commander and some security operatives in the area, on assessment tour of the communities, were ambushed and attacked by the herdsmen who had seized the area after they chased off the indigenes.
The renewed crisis has created a huge refugee situation in the area with over 300 people displaced from the affected communities and scores injured in the bloody attack.

A Benin-based cleric, Prophet Jordan Iwuala, has prophesied that President Muhammadu Buhari may be assassinated.

Iwuala, General Overseer of the Redemption Tabernacle Church of All Nations, disclosed this while stating his 2016 prophecies for the country.

North Korea launched a long-range rocket on Sunday carrying what it called a satellite, but its neighbors and the United States denounced the launch as a missile test, conducted in defiance of U.N. sanctions and just weeks after a nuclear bomb test.

The U.S. Strategic Command said it had detected a missile entering space, and South Korea’s military said the rocket had put an object into orbit.

18 year old Shelby Isaacs (pictured above)has been arrested for allegedly killing her hair stylist Eddie Tate Jr., 38, and his girlfriend, Edwina Thomas, 33 (below). Edwina was heavily pregnant when she was killed. The police is charging Shelby with three counts of first-degree murder.

According to authorities, the couple was sitting in the car when Shelby approached them and after arguing over a weave, she opened fire, killing Eddie on the spot. Edwina was rushed to the hospital but she and her baby died ..!

2 dead as another boat capsizes in Lagos

One week after a boat mishap in Badore claimed the lives of seven , another boat has capsized in the Badagry area with two feared dead.
It was gathered that the fibre boat which had 10 passengers, crashed into a log of wood after it took off on Saturday from Ebute Iworo Jetty, en route Badagry.Only four of the passengers were reported to have used live jackets, while others did not.

Two syndicates which specialized in the hijacking of heavy duty trucks along Benin / Ore Expressway and the snatching/stealing of posh vehicles in Ondo State have been nabbed.

Sunday Vanguard gathered that ,over 11 different vehicles were recovered from the first syndicate while 14 were taken from the other group. Speaking with Sunday Vanguard, the leader of the syndicate that allegedly snatched posh cars, Moses Olayemi, said he went into the business to make money so as to build a house. He said,
