Jega’s Council Never Met With Us -Rivers APC

THE All Progressives Congress in Rivers State has communicated astonishment that the board set up by the Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission, Prof. Attahiru Jega, to examine the behavior of the Presidential and National Assembly decisions in the state neglected to meet with it (APC).

The APC had griped to INEC over asserted disappointment of its supporters and control of the aftereffect of the March 28, 2015 decisions in the state.

The state Chairman of the APC, Dr. Davies Ikanya, said on Sunday that the panel set up by Jega just met with INEC and the Peoples Democratic Party in the state, who should be the wrongdoers in the matter.

Ikanya questioned the reason behind Jega’s case that a council was situated up to research grumblings over the non-direct of decisions in the state when the said board had not possessed the capacity to meet with the gathering that laid the grumbling.

He said, “We (Rivers APC) are stunned to hear that the implied panel had come to Rivers State as it expected that an investigative or truth discovering board, for example, was said to have been constituted would positively have met with the complainants and other concerned gatherings before taking a choice."
