Akon set to buy 50% of African music Download Service

 African/American singer, Akon has announced he will be buying 50% of African music download sevice, Musik Bi as the platform struggles to survive after 18 months of its birth.



Africa’s forst home grown legal music download platform, Musik Bi was lunched in february 2016 in the Senegalese capital, Dakar with a vision to promote African artists, pay them properly and fight illegal music download on internet.

Akon has however he will be the majority sshareholder in the service, in a bid to make it gain its foot on the ground, describing it as a ” platform for the future”
