In the latest FIFA world ranking released on Thursday, Nigeria’s Super Eagles remain 42nd on the list – the same ranking they had in the October list.
However, the team is now ranked 9th in Africa despite failing to qualify for the 2015 African Cup of Nations (AFCON), Goal reports.
Algeria remains in the number one position in Africa’s ranking, and Tunisia is second.
