19 Ships Laden With Foods, Petroleum Products Arrives Lagos Ports

               Nineteen ships laden with foods, petroleum products and other goods have arrived Lagos ports.


The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) stated this in its daily publication, `Shipping Position,’ made available to newsmen in Lagos.
According to the document, six of the ships arrived the ports with rice, while four others sailed into the ports with general cargo and containers.

It stated that nine ships brought petrol, kerosene, bulk gas and diesel to the ports.

The document indicated that 39 ships were expected at the ports from Jan. 30 to Feb. 29.

It explained that 21 of the expected ships would sail in with containers, while eight others would bring in general cargo.

The document noted that seven ships would sail in with frozen fish, crude palm oil, bulk sugar, buckwheat and bulk salt.

It also indicated that the remaining three ships would arrive with petrol, bulk gas and kerosene.
