One time national vice president of Ijaw Youth Council (IYC) worldwide, Comrade Famous Daunemigha, has dished out a strong warning to the leader of Niger Delta Volunteer Force, Asari Dokubo.
He was told in clear terms to stop inciting the youths of the region against the administration of President Muhammudu Buhari, as Niger Delta would no longer be a battle ground for his selfish benefits.
He said no one should support the call to fight Buhari because their own brother “Jonathan was president for six years but could not review the terminal date of the amnesty programme.”
Comrade Famous, who had also flown the flag of the defunct Congress for Progressive Change (CPC) in the 2012 governorship election, warned that youths in the Niger Delta region should not fall to the antics of Asari Dokubo who may be calling for the resumption of militant activities in the region.
While speaking with newsmen in Yenagoa, he noted that all known ex-militants in the region have embraced the new leadership of President Buhari and also expressed their willingness to work with him, saying the recent inciting comment from Asari-Dokubo would amount to nothing.
