BET International director, Lilian N. Blankson has replied claims of mistreatment of African artists at its award ceremony.
The 2015 BET Awards which held July 28, stirred up strong reactions as African acts, Wizkid, and Yemi Alade, as well UK Afrobeat star, Fuse ODG spoke against the treatment of non-US stars.
Blankson has replied the stars, denying claims that the awards to the Best International Act – Africa and UK categories were prerecorded.
“First of all, tell the truth and stop tweeting lies and mistruths. There has never been a backstage presentation of any award. Pre recorded” she tweted.
