Actor Ali Nuhu Quits Acting, Returns To School

Nigerian actor Ali Nuhu has reportedly put all activities concerning acting on hold as he returns to school.

Premium Times reports that the Hausa movie star has started attending classes for a six-week training in film production and cinematic arts at the University of Southern California School of Cinematic Arts in the US.

Fellow actor Nuhu Abdullahi has expressed positive views on the development, saying he is proud of Ali for deciding to take his career a step further by going for studies in film production.

Recall that in November, 2015, the media was awash with news of Ali Nuhu’s death following a robbery incident at his Kano residence, a claim he debunked afterwards in an interview with BBC Hausa.

Nuhu also denied that there was any such thing as a robbery in his house.

He said: “I am good and healthy. There has never been any robbery at my residence.”

Also, in November 2015, he won the outstanding actor award in Hausa movies at the 19th African Film Awards in London, at Stratford Town Hall.

He won alongside another popular actor Adam Zango.
