Chelsea boss, Antonio Conte has said Victor Moses “deserves” his new contract with the club.
The Super Eagles star penned a new four-year deal with the Blues reportedly worth £75,000 a week.
Moses spent the last three years away from Stamford Bridge, on loan at Liverpool, West Ham and Stoke City. However, he has been given a chance to shine by manager Antonio Conte this season.
Speaking at his Friday press conference, ahead of Monday’s game at West Ham, Conte said: “He deserves a new contract. He is a good guy with great technique”.
Moses himself, had expressed his happiness after signing the contract.
The 26-year-old said: “I feel very excited. I’m delighted to be here for another few years now and to sign a new deal. Now it’s time to concentrate on the team and keep working hard to make sure we win games and try to win the Premier League this season.
“We’re having a great season, I’m enjoying my football and we have a good manager here that has given every single one of us confidence. I just want to keep on enjoying it and working hard for the team.”
