Ashanti’s Sister Says Africans Smell

            Popular American singer Ashanti has done many shows in Africa over the last couple of years, earning money enough to keep her dwindling career up but her sister seems to have no respect for the motherland.

On Hip Hop New York cast member, Nya Lee’s post where she is flanked by bodyguards, Ashanti’s sister commented saying ‘Nice, but I know your nose is broke’ insinuating that the African body guards probably stink.

Nya caught her comment and asked the girl to ask Ashanti as she was expected the next day.
Ashanti Sister has responded to the comments and said she was refering to the smog.

Ashanti’s mom was a dance teacher and her father was a singer, Ashanti was named after the Ashanti Empire in Ghana.
Her Grandfather was a civil rights activist, who marched along with Martin Luther king.
