When the Favorite Comedic TV Actress winner forgot to thank her husband, Ryan Sweeting, in her acceptance speech during Wednesday's People's Choice Awards, she asked Galecki to do it for her. The result? A great live TV moment.
Galecki spoke on behalf of the BBT cast when they won for Favorite TV Show and paused to say to the audience, "Kaley forgot in her speech to thank her husband." Then, addressing the tennis player, he said, "Ryan, you are my heart and I can't imagine what I'd be without you."
As Galecki continued to gush about Sweeting, Cuoco tapped him on the shoulder to get him to wrap it up. "Thank you," she said. "Thank you. I appreciate that."
The blonde later took to Instagram to thank Galecki, whom she dated for about two years before they split in 2009. She also called herself a "sucky wife" for forgetting Sweeting, whom she married a year ago.
"I wanna thank @sanctionedjohnnygalecki for thanking my amazing husband Ryan at the #peopleschoiceawards tonight because Ryan's wife, me, forgot during her speech. #suckywife #amazinghusband," she wrote.
That wasn't Cuoco's only "sorry" last night. While presenting with her The Wedding Ringer co-stars Kevin Hart and Josh Gad, she also joked about being on an "apology tour" for her the anti-feminism comments she made to Redbook.
The Big Bang Theory scoring the Favorite TV Show last night was also a sweet victory for the cast as the show has long been shut out at the Emmys in the Outstanding Comedy Series category.
