President Goodluck Jonathan campaign organization in Benue State has organized a town hall meeting with leaders of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Benue North Senatorial District to re-launch the president’s re-election campaign in the zone.
The town hall meeting, called at the instance of the President Goodluck Jonathan’s campaign coordinator in Benue State, Mr Sam Odeh, a former Minister of State for Niger Delta Affairs, was aimed at re-strategising ahead of the presidential election which will hold March on 28th.
At the meeting with key party leaders from the zone and aspirants on the platform of the PDP in the forth coming general elections, Mr Odeh stressed the need to overrun the opposition in a landslide victory for the president and other candidates of the party at the general elections.
One after the other, PDP leaders from the senatorial district in their endorsements, gave assurances that the opposition will not break its rank this time around.
The gathering of PDP bigwigs from the zone, would remind the opposition of its resolve to defend its 16 years reign in the State as the PDP has its eyes in ruling the State and Nigeria beyond its acclaimed 60 years political dominance."
