This Fraudster Has Been Arrested For Issuing Prison Service Appointment Letters

James Odey,a fake employment syndicate by the Federal Capital Territory, FCT Police Command for allegedly issuing 400 fake Nigerian Prison Service letters of appointment to unsuspecting job seekers, afterduping them of large sums of money.

According to the Prisons Service Public Relations Officer (PSPRO), Francis Enobore, the lid on Odey's fake 'employment agency' was blown when over 40 victims stormed the National Headquarters of the Service in Abuja last week Friday, brandishing letters of appointments for documentation, having been made to part with between N100,000 and N500,000 before they were issued the fake letters.

The service then began investigating the acclaimed appointment letters and soon realised that the victims were duped by the suspect and his syndicate who posed as members of 'Replacement Board' of the NPS.

Enobore narrated further:

"The appointment letters prompted an investigation from the Intelligence Unit of the Service which led to the arrest of Odeh at his hideout.

The public is hereby advised to beware of fraudsters on the prowl, who take undue advantage of the congested labour market to inflict further pains on unsuspecting job seekers."
