‘Jurassic World’ Set To Break Box Office Records With $180 Million Debut

Jurassic World destroyed the box office competition yesterday,June 12 with a massive $83 million – well on its way to a record-breaking $180 million in its opening weekend!

According to Variety, the action-packed flick starring Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Nick Robinson, and Ty Simpkins, will officially become the biggest June release ever if it stays on track. The title was previously held by 2013′s Man of Steel with $116.6 million.

Meanwhile, Jurassic World will likely also become the third-largest opening weekend ever, just behind The Avengers ($207 million) and The Avengers: Age of Ultron ($191 million).
