Boyfriend Beats Up His Girlfriend After Promising Her Money but Only Gave Her Se x

Once you start allowing deceit into your love life, you are heading for doom blindly
A 36-year-old man, Samuel, has been arrested and remanded in prison custody for allegedly assaulting his girlfriend, Temitope, in Lagos.

Samuel allegedly invited Temitope, who is a polytechnic student to his house at 20, Alhaji Yaya street in the Ilasamaja area of Lagos, for se x romp which she obliged him.

But it was gathered that before he persuaded her to come and do things with him in his house, they agreed on a certain amount Samuel will give her to offset her expenses.

After engaging Temitope in marathon se x for several hours… Samuel went out of the room under the false pretence to get the money he promised her.

When Samuel later came back and she demanded for the money, he attacked and started beating her.

He forcefully dragged her out and locked his house and went away. During the incident, Temitope sustained serious injury on her body which is being treated.

Temitope went straight to the police at Ijeshatedo division and reported her boyfriend. The police arrested Samuel and took him to the station for interrogation.

At the station, he confessed that she was his girlfriend and that he actually invited her and promised to give her some money but had no money to give her at present.

Samuel promised to give her the money whenever he gets some.

It was gathered that Temitope is not a se x worker but only requested for money from Samuel to solve some of her financial challenges.

Samuel has been charged with assault under the Criminal Code. He pleaded not guilty to the charge.

The presiding Magistrate, Mrs A. K. Shonubi granted him bail in the sum of N50,000 with one surety in like sum. A man who doesn’t have small money to give his girlfriend, where will he give 50k for bail?

The matter has been adjourned till 20 April, 2016, maybe for the lovers to settle or continue in court
