Some angry youths in Kano state today razed the homes of Sen. Kabiru
Gaya in Gaya LGA of Kano State and the campaign office and poultry farm
of the House of Representatives member from the area, Abdullahi Mahmoud
over claims of unfulfilled election promises. The youths had started a
protest in the locality at about 11am before setting some properties of
the politicians ablaze.
They also attempted to raze the residence of their local government
chairman but his security detail were able to overpower and disperse the
rampaging youths.
