Khloe Kardashian is seeking to end her marriage to Lamar Odom again.
On May 26 the reality star filed for divorce from her husband Lamar Odom.
Must like the first time she filed for divorce, Khloe cited "irreconcilable differences" as the reason, according to TMZ, who was first to report the news. Multiple outlets have said that she is very upset that he has begun drinking again.
This is the second time she's filed documents to end her marriage. Khloe first filed for divorce in December 2013. However, both she and Lamar made no effort to push the paperwork through, as she reportedly fought to save the marriage.
Last October, when Lamar nearly died at the Nevada brothel, she called off the divorce, which seemed to be very close to being finalized at the time. She's going to have to wait for a while again, though, to officially be a single woman.
In California, a divorce cannot become final until six months after it's filed.
The proceedings should go fairly smoothly, as the two reportedly had a prenuptial agreement and worked out a property settlement last time around.
There were many who thought that she and Lamar would end up back together, especially given all they've been through within the last seven months, when she sat by his side as he clung to life in a Nevada hospital following an overdose.
TMZ claims that she never wanted to get back with the former NBA star, even though she called off the divorce. She simply didn't want to upset him while he was recovering. She was also making medical decisions for him while he was in a coma, as they were still legally married, though separated.
At the time, she said, "It's out in the media that we are back together, but I wish people understood that's not in our thought process right now. There are too many other important things, too many medical things. It's not even in our brains thinking about us as a couple or having a relationship right now."
Khloe added that her feelings for Lamar had remained the same through their divorce and through his recovery.
"I loved him always, and I will always love him," she says of her husband since 2009. "I don't believe love is fickle. I believe when you love someone, you are allowed to love from afar. You don't have to be with that person in order to love him."
