Pentecostal Church Offers Free Beer During Services to Attract New Members
There is nothing that some churches wouldn’t do to attract members. In Oklahoma, a church decided to do something extraordinary by offering new members free beer during services.
The East Side Church of Tulsa had invited the public for beer for the first time last week. A spokesperson told reporters that the service was designed as an outreach event.

“It’s an opportunity to reach a wide demographic of people to ask questions about what is happening in our Christian world, what is happening in our churches and what is happening in our community,” said the spokesperson.
The poster of the church read “everyone is welcome. No questions are prohibited. No holds barred. Just come and respect the opinions of others. Just having a good honest conversation about God, while having a couple of beers.”
Leah Stanfield stands at a microphone across the room from the beer taps and reads this evening's gospel message.
"I find the love, I find the support, I find the non-judgmental eyes when I come here," she says. "And I find friends that love God, love craft beer
