GOOD NEWS: Kids Abducted By Housemaid In Lagos Found!

The abducted children, Michael and Rafael

Michael and Rafael abducted by a housemaid on Sunday night, December 7, have been found in the Sagamu area, Ogun State, Punch informs.

According to the source, the kids were abandoned near the Sagamu Police Station on Thursday. It is known that a passersby in the area alerted the police to the presence of the children. But surprisingly no arrest has been made in connection with the abduction.

Later it was reported that the two children were abducted by their housemaid at about 6pm, from their home in Gateway Crescent in the Magodo, Isheri area of Lagos State, when their parents went out. The two kids (Rafael (3), and 15-month-old Michael) are said to be nephews of Nollywood actress, Kate Henshaw. The mother of the abducted children, Mrs. Onajite Esharegharan, and her husband, Elvis were said to have secured the service of the maid identified simply as Juliet through a sale portal, OLX.

The parents of the children could not be reached for comments. However, an uncle of the children, Mr. Darlington Abuda, says that the mother is busy attending to the kids. One of them is traumatized. He also said that the kids would be taken to a hospital for medical examination.

Abuda added: “We are jubilant. Their rescue is the best Christmas gift the whole family can ever get. Michael is crying now and the mother is attending to him and his elder brother. We give glory to God for returning them to the family safe and sound. I learnt they were abandoned near the Sagamu Police Station by the housemaid.”
