Mubi Now Free Of Boko Haram – Nigerian Military

The Nigerian Army has announced that they have finally reclaimed Mubi town and cleared it off boko haram insurgents.

This was made known to the public through Defence spokesperson, Chris Olukolade who said that the troops mission was judged successful yesterday.

He said that as of right now the military is carrying out a mop up operation to clear the area of insurgents who might still be lurking around after they had been dislodged during coordinated air and land military operations in the area.

He told reporters that the military is still actively trying to halt terrorist activities in Nigeria.

The Nigerian military fight against boko haram has been boosted by the supply of the much needed arms and air support to the front soldiers who have been engaged in the war against terrorism since 2009
