The Nigerian Navy in Rivers State is leaving no stone unturned in ensuring security along the creeks and waterways in the state.
Patrolling the major waterways less than 48 hours to the presidential elections, the Officer in Charge of Operations, Captain Sam Bura, said on Thursday that the exercise was aimed at securing the movement of election materials before, during and after the polls.
Captain Bura consequently warned intruders to keep off as Naval officers are strategically deployed at different points of the waterways."
