Edo INEC Distributes Election Materials

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in Edo State in south-south Nigeria has taken delivery of sensitive materials ahead of Saturday’s general elections from the state branch of the Central Bank of Nigeria.
In an interview with Channels Television at the INEC Headquarters in Benin City, Edo State capital, the Resident Electoral Commissioner (REC), Mike Igini, reiterates the Commission’s preparedness for the election.

Mr Igini said distribution of all materials across the 18 Local Government Areas had commenced.

He said the INEC would ensure that every Polling Unit in the state would get the materials in good time."
