Vincent Enyeama Drops Retirement Hint

Super Eagles captain, Vincent Enyeama, has dropped a big hint that he is set to quit the team.
The former Enyimba shot – stopper, who wore the Super Eagles jersey for the 100th time against Uganda,  has revealed that he will hold roundtable talks with the national team handlers soon to sort out his international future, allnigeriasoccer.com reports.


          After the World Cup in Brazil, there were speculations that Enyeama will quit international football, but those suggestions were put to bed when he honoured the African Cup of Nations qualifying fixtures against Sudan.

“They are not rumours. I have to stop at some point, I cannot keep playing until I get old.
“I have to stop at some point and then concentrate on my club football, for now I don’t know.
“With 100 caps in the bag. I am going to speak to the coaches, see the way forward because a whole lot of things have to be sorted out.
“We will sit down and we will sort things out,” allnigeriasoccer.com quoted Enyeama as saying to supesport.com on Wednesday.
He has represented Nigeria in the last 13 years, and played in three FIFA World Cup tournaments."
