Man Gives Jonathan 1 Million Naira To Fight Boko Haram

President Goodluck Jonathan is  presiding over a National Security Council meeting with all the security chiefs in attendance.

Also attending the meeting is the chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission, (INEC) Professor Attahiru Jega who is expected to brief the council on the latest preparations towards the March 28th presidential elections.

Just before the commencement of the meeting, President Goodluck Jonathan was presented with a cheque of one million naira to support the Nigerian soldiers in the fight against Boko Haram from a well spirited Nigerian, Mr Dotun Oyetunde and his wife.

President Jonathan commended the couple and  appealed to well meaning Nigerians to support the soldiers instead of criticizing the fight against insurgency.

The President described the Nigerian soldiers as the strength of the nation who deserve to be respected at all times.

Nigeria’s number one citizen also described as reckless, any move by politicians to rope in the military into politics and asked  Nigerians to follow the example shown by Mister Dotun Oyetunde and his wife who donated to the military even when they are not among the richest in the country."
