Former Manchester United Striker Van Persie Could Join Barcelona

Former Manchester United striker Robin van Persie is a shocking January transfer target for Spanish giants Barcelona.
Spanish newspaper Mundo Deportivo has on its front page that Barcelona are consdering a move for the for Fernabache striker, who joined the Turkish club earlier this year.

The player has been left frustrated on the bench at his new club, as manager VĂtor Pereira doesn’t seem to fancy the 32-year old in his starting lineup.

On the international front, it has also been dreadful for forward. Van Persie scored an own goal as the Netherlands lost 3-2 to the Czech Republic. A result which means the Orange men will play no part of the upcoming European Championships in 2016.

Barcelona technical director Robert Fernandez was at the Oranje to watch van Persie.

Would van Persie establish himself again in Barcelona?
