The charge comes after the Chelsea manager admitted a breach of FA rules in
relation to post-match media comments against the officials.
Mourinho was charged for misconduct following Chelsea’s 3-1 loss to Southampton at Stamford Bridge on Saturday October 3, where referee Robert Madley denied Chelsea a spot-kick in the
second-half.
Speaking after the game, Mourinho had said the Blues were “always punished” by officials because “there is always a question mark” from the media.
“If the Football Association wants to punish me they can. They don’t punish other managers,” he added.
