Come July, 2016 Nigerians will need Visas to Enter Ghana

Ghanaian President, John Dramani Mahama has said that citizens from other African countries must now apply for visas before being allowed entry into Ghana.
Mahama made this statement during his State of the Nation address earlier this month that visas will be issued at the entry point and would attract an option of 30 days stay in the country.

According to the President:

“With effect from July this year, we will be allowing citizens of AU Member States to enter our country and obtain visas on arrival with the option to stay for up to thirty days and experience what our country has to offer.”
Adding that, “This measure, with time, should stimulate air travel, trade, investment and tourism.”
