A
private jet carrying the 57-year-old music icon made an emergency
landing in Moline, Illinois, early Friday morning, at which point he was
transported to a nearby hospital, treated and released three hours
later, Prince’s rep tells ET.
The
singer is still recovering from his bout with the flu, which had caused
him to postpone two shows on April 7. Prince decided to hit the stage on
Thursday, and a concert review from PasteMagazine speculated: “From the look of it, [Prince had] made a full recovery.”
After the brief hospitalization, Prince’s rep said that he is now home.
