Prince William and Kate Middleton Are Safe After ‘Feeling Tremors’ From a 6.9-Magnitude Earthquake In India

Prince William and Kate Middleton are safe and sound!
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge — who were visiting the Kaziranga National Park in Assam as part of their Royal Tour of India — reportedly “felt tremors” when an earthquake with a 6.9 magnitude jolted Myanmar on Wednesday night, sending waves across eastern India and Bangladesh. According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the quake hit about 246 miles north of Myanmar’s capital, Naypyidaw, with tremors felt in the region where the couple is staying.

“The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and their party felt tremors from the Myanmar earthquake in Kaziranga National Park,” Richard Palmer, a royal correspondent for London’s Daily Expresstweeted. “Everyone is safe.”
