See full list of 2017 Lead MTV Movie and TV Award Nominations

 The nominations for this year's 2017 MTV Movie and TV Awards were announced on Thursday morning, with projects like "Get Out," "Stranger Things," "Beauty and the Beast" and "Atlanta" all racking up multiple noms.

Adam Devine will host the event, which goes down May 7 at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles.
This is the first year MTV is mixing movies and television, and even sidestepped award show tradition by mixing male and female performers in acting categories.
