Students in Norman, Oklahoma, held protests and demanded the arrest of a male student who had sex with another student without her consent.
Tristen Kole Killman-Hardin, 18, a former student of Norman High School, recorded himself having sex with a 16-year-old student who was very intoxicated.
Killman-Hardin was charged with two counts of first-degree rape of an unconscious victim. He is being held in the Cleveland County District Court on bail of $250,000 - according to court documents.
Killman-Hardin is accused of raping the 16-year-old girl after offering her a ride home from a party.
According to the arrest affidavit, the 16-year-old girl told police that she was drunk and remembered little about the night after she accepted the ride. However, she woke up the next morning with pain in the genital area.
Later that day, someone forwarded her a video, showing her being sexually assaulted in Killman-Hardin’s vehicle.
Students said that the victim was bullied at school after the video was posted to the Internet. Students demanded the immediate arrest of Killman-Hardin.
Some protesters believed that Killman should also face a child pornography charge for producing the video of the rape. However, police disagreed, and claimed that the video did not amount to pornography.
