World football governing body FIFA, has confirmed four candidates for it’s presidential election slated for May 29.
In a statement on Monday, FIFA said after series of integrity check, incumbent president Josep Sepp Blatter will be challenged by former Portuguese star, Luis Figo, Dutchman, Michael Van Praag and Prince Ali Binal Hussein of Jordan.
Swiss football administrator Blatter has been in the role since 1998.
But his reign has been overshadowed in recent times by allegations of corruption throughout the organization.
