Soon after the story of internally displaced persons in one of the makeshift camps in Abuja was aired on this channel, several volunteers and other donor agencies including the United Nation’s Children Fund, UNICEF, have been distributing materials to the displaced persons.
While there has been some succour, the gesture is not enough to meet some of the basic needs of the displaced persons."
