Members of the Judiciary Workers Union of Edo on Friday protested through the major streets of Benin City over the non implementation of a Federal court ruling on the autonomy of the judiciary; which they described as the ‘death of Judiciary’.
The striking workers all dressed in black and carrying placard stating their demands said they were mourning the death of the judiciary in Edo state.
According to them, Governor Adams Oshiomhole had refused to pay three months salary in arrears.
