Cissy Houston broke her silence on Bobbi Kristina Brown’s condition, saying in a radio interview that there’s “not a great deal of hope.” “She’s the same,” Houston told New York radio station WBLS 107.5 on Wednesday about her granddaughter.
“We’ve moved her to a place for rehabilitation. And you know, still not a great deal of hope,” continued Houston, adding, “[We’re] still praying.” The 81-year-old also thanked everyone for their endless support, saying she feels “every bit of it,” and revealed that she has already made peace with the devastating situation.
“I don’t pray like that,” said Houston. “I give it to God one time, because He’s able. And I cannot change a thing. I’m asking everybody, just pray to the Lord who we know CAN do something about it.” She continued, “If He works a miracle, thank God. If it happens the other way, I’m alright.”
As Gossip Cop previously reported, Brown was recently moved from Emory University Hospital to a rehabilitation center in Atlanta, but still remains in a coma and on life support. A family insider told Gossip Cop that Bobby Brown is praying for a turnaround, and not giving up. “It’s not like with a spouse where the husband or wife has had a talk about what to do [in a situation like this]. When it’s your child, there’s never that [type of] talk, and you’re always holding out hope.”
