President Goodluck Jonathan has promised to implement the recommendations made at the National Conference to the letter when re-elected President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
President Jonathan was speaking at the Royal Palace of the Awujale of Ijebu Land, Oba Sikiru Adetona, where he went to receive royal blessings towards the 2015 general elections.
The president said he was seeking for reelection to accomplish the projects which he initiated in several areas like agriculture, aviation, health and infrastructure saying that though his administration had made some giant strides, four years was not enough to finish what he started.
The Oba of Ijebu Land and his people had in an address presented by Oba Yinusa Adekoya requested for federal presence in Ijebu and the refund of money spent by the state government to construct flyover bridges in the state.
In his response the Ajuwale of Ijebu Land, Oba Sikiru Adetona, called on Nigerians to vote in honest people and prayed for guidance for the President."
