A footpath that known as the most dangerous and scariest walkway in the world is set to reopen to the public in Spain.

Slicing through the Gaitanes Gorge in southern Spain, El Caminito del Rey – known as the King’s Pathway – was shut down by authorities after five people plunged to their deaths in 1999 and 2000 according to Daily Mail.See Pictures Of The World’s Most Dangerous Bridge
According to Veoz, the three-kilometre-long cliffside path has been reopened after extensive renovation. John Kramer, who walked the path in 2013, said: “One of the most worrying things on the day was the safety cable had snapped a month previously – an Italian climber fell over 80m and miraculously, not only survived, but walked away unscathed.” The walk way will open to the public at the start of Holy Week, which begins on March 29.
