According to Daily Trust, Chidinma was pregnant when she was brought from Enugu to work as a house maid and hid her condition from her boss and neighbors claiming her bulging belly was hereditary.
Describing how the incident occurred, a source said Chidinma went into labor and gave birth to her child when her boss was not around. Speaking further, the source said: “She quickly sent the children of her madam away, locked herself up in the room, and delivered the baby without stress.
She cut off the placenta, flushed it in the toilet and cleaned herself up and the entire room. According to the source, her boss was stunned when she came back and met Chidinma doing her domestic duties without a bulging belly.
Chindinma’s secret was revealed when a neighbor discovered where the new born baby was dumped and informed the police whose investigation led to her arrest.
The baby has been given to the boss of Chindinma as the police continue their investigation.
