Mikel and Moses are in my plans – Oliseh

Both players were missing in Nigeria’s games against Tanzania and Niger but the Eagles’ head coach insists they could still gain selection if they play regularly for their clubs
Nigeria head coach Sunday Oliseh has admitted Victor Moses and Mikel Obi remains in his plans despite being frozen out of the national team.

The duo were not invited for Super Eagles’ Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Tanzania and Tuesday’s friendly against Niger Republic but Oliseh claims there is still room for them provided they play regularly for their English outfits.
“There is room for everybody, all I am just asking them is we need them to have playing time,” said Oliseh
“[Against Niger Republic], everybody who played for Nigeria played for their respective clubs and at the same time they are showing the hunger that they want to play.
“And they have started picking up points, so obviously those coming will have to fight to get into the team but that’s what we want for Nigeria.”
When asked if Carl Ikeme is a capable replacement for captain Vincent Enyeama should he decide to quit the national team, the former Super Eagles claims that no player is indispensable.
“No one is irreplaceable,” Oliseh continued. “I think Nigeria is the only country that is not replaceable.”
“I retired and Nigeria continued. And if anyone else retires, Nigeria will continue.  There is still room for Vincent Enyeama, Mikel Obi and Victor Moses who I’m happy with because he has got his loan deal and we can now say will be playing regularly,” he concluded.
