Dayo Adeneye Makes New Commissioner List

Despite losing his bid to be at the state House of Assembly, Dayo Adeneye has been in the corridor of power in Ogun state. Dayo Adeneye, the entertainment guru is finally making in-road into governance with his nomination as a commissioner nominee. This is a reward his steadfastness.

At the sitting of the Ogun state House of Assembly on Thursday, October 22, the Speaker, Surajudeen Ishola Adekunbi read out a letter written to the House by the Ogun state governor, Sen Ibikunle Amosun asking for the screening of five additional commissioner nominees.

On the lists sent to the House by the governor are Modupeola Mujota, Adenrele Adesina, Babajide Odubanjo, Adewale Oshinowo and Dayo Adeneye.

D1 as Dayo Adeneye is fondly called will be screened alongside other nominees on Friday , October 23 by 11am.

D1 had contested for a seat at the state House of Assembly to represent Odogbolu local government but he lost out at the primaries.

After he lost at the primaries, the governor Amosun absorbed Dayo Adeneye into his campaign team where he served as a member of the governor campaign media and publicity team. After the election, D1 was a member of the 2015 Inauguration Committee of Ogun State.

D1 alongside Kenny Ogungbe brought revolution into the Nigerian music industry with their programme turned label Primetime Music .
